Rolex Daytona Watches – The First Introduced Refiner’s Refurbished Watch

Before you buy any watch, you have to know what is the Rolex Daytona really made of. There is actually no secret that Rolex knows everything about the material it uses. Actually, this is just the official term of the original Daytona watches from Rolex, which is located beneath the Rolex name and logo on 12-o clock. These watches were created before wristwatches were invented. The real name of these watches is “Oyster Perpetual”. What this means is that these watches have a perpetual motion device incorporated in them.

There was a time when Rolex was not yet known as Rolex. And back then, they were more known as the Brownells, which were not considered very reputable. In 1963, James Bond used a wristwatch manufactured by Rolex. Later on, James Bond’s nemesis, Vulpes Trulain, also had a Rolex watch. So, we can see how important this name was for Rolex. Indeed, from that time forward, Rolex has been known as just that – Roles.

Another great thing with Rolex Daytona is that they have a wide variety of choices when it comes to colors, styles, and designs. For instance, if you are looking for something that is classic, then you should choose the brown leather band watches. But if you want something that is a bit modern and sleek, then you have many choices. Most of the new models of Rolex have some type of date function and a backlight.

It was not long until Rolex came up with the first introduced waterproof and water resistant watches. The first one was the Men’s Stainless Steel Diver. Then, in the late sixties, it was the Ladies’ Stainless Steel Diver. These watches were truly iconic and they became the official timekeeper of British Airways. From there, other companies such as Breitling, Hamilton, Omega, and Swatch did adopt the design.

Another wonderful thing about Rolex Daytona is that most of its dials are circular. They have a unique characteristic that no other manufacturer possesses. The second generation watches have a unique and totally different type of dials.

For the original first generation dials, which were called “blue dials,” they were made of stainless steel. The second generation dials are made of yellow gold. The third and fourth generations have very unique dials with Arabic numerical combination. All of these dials are covered with a non-skid varnish.

On all of these dials, there are two sub-dials. The first sub-dial has ten smaller markers, while the second sub-dial has twelve smaller markers. These numbers are illuminated from the inside of the watch. The ten minute recorder, the alarm, the date, and the second’s track are illuminated on the sub-dials while the luminous markers on the larger numbers of each sub-dial help to provide additional information.

When talking about the chronograph, the first generation is powered by the push-button chronograph and the second gen is powered by a Pull-tab chronograph. Both of them have sixteen markers. The Pull tab dial has eleven luminous markers and it has an arrow with a red arrow pointing to the second sub-dial. There are eleven large luminous markers along with one minute and hour hand. The large luminous markers make it easy for the user to read the time.

The watch for the ladies has a round or square glass with a silver or black dial. It has a silver toned case with deployment clasp and deployment middle finger ring. It has an inbuilt compass rose, luminous hands and a pre-daytona.

The watches for men are basically similar to the ladies’ watches with the exception of the fact that they have slightly bigger dials. They also have chronograph pushers and push button compartments as well as luminous hands. They have black or blue dials, along with deployment bezel and pushers in addition to the usual markers.

Rollex Daytona was introduced in the year 1963, by Jean Baptist Pelletier, a French jewelry manufacturer. It has been inspired by the watches he used while skiing, on the ocean and in the mountains. Its origins go back over fifty years to the First introduced by Yves Saint Laurent. It is the only watch of its kind to bear the names of the First lady of France, Princess Diana and the former Princesses Camille, Cleopatra and Marie Antoinette. This piece of jewelry is still popular today and is known for its fabulous luxury design, excellent craftsmanship and unparalleled accuracy.
